The equipment that the Nursery provides is appropriate for all ages and stages of development of all the children within our care.
We offer a wide range of equipment to maintain a child’s interest and encourage the children’s natural curiosity. Activities offer challenging opportunities to assist and promote all areas of learning and development. Resources reflect positive images of people both male and female from a range of cultural groups with and without disabilities.
A cooked midday meal is prepared on the premises for the children, based on a healthy and nutritious diet. Mid morning and mid afternoon snacks, plus afternoon tea are also provided. Our staff has undertaken appropriate training in the safe and hygienic handling of food. All dietary requirements, either for medical or cultural reasons, will be respected and catered for.
Parents of babies are requested to provide prepared bottle-feeds for their children, but the cost of all other foods is included in the Nursery fees.
Nappies and toiletries are included in the Nursery Fees. For older children at the ‘potty training’ stage, we ask that a spare set of clothes be left at the Nursery for that odd ‘accident’ which inevitably occurs.
