It is recognised that all young children learn through play. At Langtree Hall, all play activities and resources are designed to meet the individual needs of your child.

We offer children opportunities to investigate and explore the man-made and natural world around them, to participate in creative and tactile activities, to extend their fine and gross motor skills and to express their own ideas and feelings.

We encourage children to enjoy books and appreciate that books carry meaning. Through carefully planned activities we will encourage children to extend their vocabulary and to listen, talk and respond to stories and rhymes and to develop writing and literacy skills.

We also encourage children to work, play and co-operate in group situations and independently. To treat living things with respect and to develop an understanding of mathematical operations.

Each child is offered opportunities to develop to their full potential and all children irrespective of gender, race, religion, age, or disability are treated fairly, equally and with respect.
